Prioleau Alexander is a native of Charleston, South Carolina, a former Marine officer, and a graduate of Porter Gaud School and Auburn University. He is the author of the nonfiction humor book You Want Fries With That?, which Pat Conroy described as “magnificent.” His second book, Dispatches Along the Way, explores his pilgrimage across Spain on the Camino de Santiago, which caused his feet to hurt very badly. He is a regular contributor to several regional publications, covering politics and nonfiction humor. He lives in Charleston with his wife, Heidi.
