In A Cinderella Story, an innovative picture book for adults being published this month, we sneak away from the castle with Cinderella, Snow White, Rapunzel, and all their princess pals as they show us what really happens after “happily ever after.” It’s a story of disillusionment, hope, and the amazing power of friendship. This is not your child’s fairy tale!
Written by Clark native/Westfield resident Joe Miloscia and illustrated by Mason Gross/Rutgers graduate and Sparta resident Danielle Ramirez, A Cinderella Story will officially launch on Thanksgiving weekend.
Publisher Blydyn Square Books, a new small press headquartered outside Philadelphia, will host a public reception to celebrate the book’s publication. The launch event will take place on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Paragon Tap and Table in Clark, NJ, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The author and illustrator will be on hand to sign copies of the book, and guests will enjoy light refreshments (cash bar also available) and door prizes.
Blydyn Square Books editor in chief, Kenilworth resident Tara Tomczyk, says, “We expect the book to have a wide appeal this holiday season, especially as a gift for women who view ‘girls’ night out’ as a requirement for their mental and marital health!”
